Now it mostly works with some limitations:

- ambient declarations seem not to be working, thus the following
converters have temporarily been disabled:
- punycode
- utf8
- quoted-printable

- webpack build does not run successfully, typescript errors out, saying
"TS2304: Cannot find name 'module'." or 'require' or 'process' in
certain .ts files.
